Desperate for my husband to fight for our marriage

I’M writing this letter with tears in my eyes after my husband of 10 years told me it's over. I'm completely heartbroken and honestly didn't see it coming.

We met at college when we were 20, got married at 25 and now have two young children.

He was upset when he told me but said he was desperately unhappy and wasn't in love with me any longer. He cried the whole time and said there wasn't anyone else involved and I believe him.

He's moved in with his brother for a while, so we can have some space from each other to think and I'm hoping it'll be easier to talk after some time apart.

I've begged him to consider counselling, so we can try again, but he says it's beyond that for him. I'm devastated that he doesn't want to try, not just for us, but for our children.
