McInnes expects to have duo available for Dons test

HEARTS boss Derek McInnes admits he is hoping to unleash Pierre Landry Kabore and Tomas Magnusson against Aberdeen in Monday's Premiership opener.

Both players are in Edinburgh but their official unveiling has been held up with Hearts waiting on the Home Office to issue work permits.

The arrival of the pair would take McInnes' summer signing haul to nine and the new-look Jambos are in great shape going into the televised clash following an impressive preseason and League Cup group campaign.

Burkina Faso forward Kabore will make the switch from Estonian side JK Narva Trans while midfielder Magnusson arrives from Valur in Iceland and McInnes is desperate for them to be involved.

He said: "We have done everything we can on Landry, that needs to be said. We're just hoping that the Home Office can rubber-stamp it.
