Teenage star Mikey reckons he's better player and stronger character for mad Ibrox experience

- BY SCOTT McDERMOTT

HE arrived at Rangers as a boy.

But you get the impression that when Mikey Moore eventually returns to Spurs, he'll have become a man.

That's what the Ibrox experience is doing for the 18-year-old Londoner.

Moore has described his time at Rangers so far as “crazy”. And he’s honest enough to admit that his start in Glasgow was the most difficult period of his fledgling career so far.

When Russell Martin signed him, he turned up with huge potential and a glowing reputation.

Moore is rated by Tottenham and England as one of the UK’s top talents.

But at the beginning of his loan spell at Gers, it looked like Scottish football might chew him up and spit him out. Martin was sacked as the Ibrox club endured a horrendous start to the campaign, domestically and in Europe. And Moore was struggling to find a regular place — or position - in the team.
