Campaigner fury as council breaks rules over homelessness 2300 times
LAWS designed to help homeless people find an appropriate place to stay have been broken nearly 10 times a day in Glasgow as the city's council grapples with a housing emergency.
The local authority has breached “unsuitable accommodation” rules 2252 times over their use of hotels and bed and breakfasts.
Child homelessness in the city has increased to 3201 since the summer.
Housing campaigner Sean Clerkin, who uncovered the horror stats, said: “We face a simple choice.
