NEW dad Brad Lyons insists being Killie’s matchwinner capped the best — and scariest - week of his life.
And Lyons was delighted to fulfil wife Aishlyn’s request of scoring for her and their son Theo as he fired Kilmarnock into the Premier Sports Cup quarterfinals.
The Rugby Park skipper pulled out of their trip to Easter Road the previous weekend as he waited for the safe arrival of Theo.
Lyons was hoping he would be born prior to their trip to the capital to take on Hibs but he didn't arrive until the Wednesday, which meant he missed the 2-2 draw.
