I BECAME leader of Scottish Labour amid the global pandemic and just weeks from the Scottish Parliament election of 2021.

The SNP had promised a recovery from the pandemic, an end to the failures of the past and a new approach to our politics.

But what have they delivered since then? Chaos, division, incompetence and failure.

Not only did they fail to turn the page on the failures of the past, they plumbed the depths of desperation and fiasco.

They promised a recovery but delivered catastrophe - and the people of Scotland are still paying the price.

The SNP had a unique opportunity to deliver change, and they blew it.

What have they delivered instead? Three first ministers, four health secretaries, leadership elections and police investigations.
