Fundraising mum loses cancer battle

A MUCH-LOVED charity fundraiser known as The Scottish Wonder Woman has passed away at the age of 55.

Mum-of-two Jane Elizabeth Crawford, who spent more than 20 years appearing at events dressed as the superhero, died last Monday after a short battle with cancer.

Music and history lover Jane was a wellknown face at the likes of Tin The Park and concerts featuring Simple Minds, The Proclaimers and Midge Ure.
