IN WARMER times the Watkin pools and waterfalls provide the perfect place to cool off on one of the main paths up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

The beauty spot is a favourite for social media users who love to post pictures from the stretch of rocky pools and tumbling falls.

But not many will have seen it the way it was looking this week.

In the wake of Storm Bram the streams became torrents - with the waves reaching close to the famous stone slab bridge over the water.
