Wales' Lawrence finally finds new club Down Under

A FORMER Manchester United starlet who was heavily linked with Wrexham during the summer transfer window has finally found a new club.

Wales international Tom Lawrence has been without a team since May after his contract with Scottish side Rangers ended.

The attacking midfielder, who was born in Wrexham, was linked with a move to his hometown club following their promotion to the Championship.

The likes of Burnley, Coventry City, West Brom, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers were also said to be interested in the 31-year-old.

However, a move to North Wales failed to materialise and after around five months without a club, he has now signed for Australian A-League outfit Perth Glory.
