UK temperatures could hit 30C

TEMPERATURES could hit 30°C at the earliest point in the year on record in the UK tomorrow, the Met Office said.

The warm weather will continue today, with highs of 27°C in London and 24°C in Wales forecast.

Temperatures could rise to 30°C in some places tomorrow, the forecaster said.

And BBC meteorologist Derek Brockway has predicted that today's temperature could beat April's all-time high of 26.3°C, set in 2003, potentially marking Wales' hottest April day in history.
