Pensioner badly injured on RIB during trip
A REVIEW has been launched after a woman in her 70s was badly injured on a rib (rigid inflatable boat) in Llandudno Bay.
The incident happened on Friday.
Aqua Tours has released a statement which said it is conducting an internal review and has been in contact with the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) and have also begun our own internal review.
It said: "With over 1,000 happy passengers joining us on the water this year, safety has always been and will remain our highest priority.
"Unfortunately, on Friday 5th September, an incident occurred on board one of our RIB trips, during which the RNLI and Coastguard provided assistance.
