Teen 'tuned purple' whilst being attacked by dad and son

A TEENAGER ‘choked’ his victim until he turned ‘purple’ during an attack in Rhyl town centre.

James Partington attacked Nathan Dudey after being punched, a court heard.

Prosecutor Joseph Lees told Mold Crown Court that Mr Dudey was in the town with his family on July 22, 2023.

At 3pm, Mr Dudey left an arcade and went to a cash machine at the Post Office on the High Street.

‘The court heard Partington, of Buckingham Road in Tuebrook, Liverpool, who was 17 at the time and is now 19, had seemed to be trying to catch pigeons and ran behind Mr Dudey. Mr Dudey turned and punched Partington’s head.

Mr Dudey’s family walked away, but Partington approached them and ‘choked’ Mr Dudey on the ground.
