'Significant seizures' of hard drugs after police raids in resort

POLICE have made “significant seizures” of hard drugs following raids in Llandudno.

Cash was also recovered, after warrants were executed at two addresses in the area, with three people under investigation for Class A drug supply.

It comes as a new 'Clear, Hold, Build' policing team - made up of one sergeant and four officers, with another four set to join the team imminently - is launched to target anti-social behaviour and repeat offenders in the West Conwy area.

A North Wales Police statement said: “Warrants executed at two addresses in the Llandudno area have resulted in significant seizures of Class A drugs and cash.

“Officers from the NPT [Neighbourhood Policing Team] and Clear, Hold, Build team conducted the warrants yesterday morning (Tuesday, 1 July), with valuable support from the Dog Unit. Mobile phones and an assortment of drug paraphernalia were also seized from the properties.

“As a result of yesterday's proactive warrants, three individuals are currently under investigation for Class A drug supply.
