Seaside community hit by roadworks says traders are still open for business

A SEASIDE community hit by months of roadworks has issued an appeal - saying “Our village need you”.
Work by Wales & West Utilities has seen the A546 blocked at Deganwy - initially on a section between the village and Llandudno Junction and on to the A55.
The utility giant is undertaking work on 550 metres of gas pipes in the Station Road area. Barring any engineering difficulties, the project will complete by November 21.
The roadworks were put in place at the start of the month and already it is having a devastating impact on businesses. While 'Businesses open as usual' signs are up drivers are unsure about if and how they can reach the village centre. Bus routes have also been diverted.
