Roadshow for 'Weatherproof Farming' climate change guide

THE Nature Friendly Farming Network (NFFN) Cymru is hitting the road as it travels across Wales to mark the launch of a new booklet designed to help farmers cope with extreme weather and climate change.

Five events are being held across Wales between Monday 23 and Friday 27 February to celebrate the publication of The Weatherproof Farm in Wales, which guides farmers on how nurturing soil health is essential for coping with increasingly volatile weather patterns.

Nature-friendly farmers from across Wales will be joined by soil health expert Niels Corfield to share their insights and practical tips on making farms more resilient and profitable by prioritising pasture and soil management over chemical inputs such as fertiliser.

The booklet offers farmers a comprehensive guide to improving their farms from the ground up, and all roadshow attendees will receive a free copy.

NFFN Cymru country manager Rhys Evans said: "Farming in Wales is getting more and more difficult, both from a climate and economic perspective.
