GREAT GRANDPARENTS WHO LIVE ON THE SITE SAY FLOODWATER IS EIGHT INCHES DEEP
CARAVANS have been left surrounded by floodwater at a holiday park in Gwynedd following prolonged downpours in North Wales.
The region has been hit by spells of torrential rain in recent weeks and the Met Office predicted yet more “prolonged” rain in north west Wales yesterday.
Anita Russell and her partner Kevin Howle live in a static caravan as managers of Rhosfawr caravan park in Y Ffor near Pwllheli.
The grandmother, 65, told how the floodwater is currently about eight inches deep and lapping up to their caravan.
