Reform 'has picked Welsh leader'

REFORM UK, if the polls prove accurate, could find themselves with more than 20 politicians elected to the Welsh Parliament in May.

The seventh Senedd election takes place on May 7 and most polls suggest they would find themselves as the second-biggest party, after Plaid Cymru.

But with fewer than 100 days to go until the election, the party is yet to confirm any candidates or a Welsh leader.

In recent weeks more party figures have hinted an announcement is imminent. So far Nigel Farage has been fronting the party's presence in Wales with repeated promises there will be a Welsh leader.
