POLICE APPEAL AFTER MAN DIES FOLLOWING 'ASSAULT' IN CITY

POLICE have confirmed the death of a man after an alleged assault.

Officers were called at around 6.15pm on Monday, December 22, to Pentyrch Street, Cathays, Cardiff, where 37-year-old Colm Marcus Boston had been seriously injured.
Mr Boston, from Heath, died on Boxing Day at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
His family are being supported by a family liaison officer, said a South Wales Police spokesman.
