House-holders are advised to always ask for and check ID of cold-callers
AN investigation is under way into cold-callers knocking on doors in a Denbighshire seaside town.
North Wales Police (NWP) responded after residents in Rhyl raised concerns about doorstep visits from people selling household items.
Neighbourhood Policing Team officers were called out on Saturday, November 22, and they quickly located the individuals involved.
NWP's Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele policing team said: "They appeared to be operating without the appropriate licences, without identification and items in their possession were suspected to be stolen.
