New training workshops available

FARMING Connect is now offering a new, fully funded, Lantra-accred-ited animal health and welfare training workshop called The Thin Ewe: Investigation and Manage-ment.

This valuable training, focusing on key animal health and welfare issues, will be delivered by approved local vet practices across Wales.

These workshops are designed to equip participants with essential skills in sheep health and manage ment.

Attending the workshop will give attendees a better understanding of various causes of poor condition in ewes and how it impacts their health, fertility, production, and welfare.

You'll learn how to Body Condi-tion Score ewes effectively, with guidance given on how to approach issues with ewe condition and rea-sons as to why it's important to do body condition score regularly.
