Men started dealing cocaine while probed for selling cannabis

TWO men under investigation for dealing cannabis, then started to deal cocaine, a court heard.

Liam Coleman and Daniel Thompson appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court, via video-link from prison, to be sentenced, after admitting dealing the two drugs.

The court heard the two came to the attention of police when they were arrested for “other matters.” When their mobile phones were examined, it became clear they were both involved in the supply of cannabis between October 2019 and March 2022, in Coleman's case and slightly less time in Thompson's, who was also found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis, which was ready to sell.

They were both released under investigation, but then started dealing cocaine in 2024.
