'Manipulative' man called partner from prison to ask her not to support case

A man rang his partner from prison urging her not to support a case against him.

Damien Kelly had been facing a charge of using controlling behaviour but it was not pursued and was dropped.
Mold Crown Court heard that Tracey Blades had been in a relationship with Kelly, 46 (pictured below)
She told police in March that she had been a victim of serious domestic abuse by him.
