A PAEDOPHILE groomed a teenage girl with vapes and alcohol before repeatedly sexually abusing her.

Jordan Tarran, now 23, of Flintshire, was jailed at Mold Crown Court for four years and two months for engaging in sexual activity with a child in 2023.

Prosecutor Gareth Bellis said the defendant had groomed the 14-year-old girl with tobacco, vapes and alcohol.

The girl, who is now 16 and cannot be identified to protect her lifelong anonymity, said she and Tarran had “sex in his bed 15 or 20 times”.

He would sometimes choke her and they did not use contraception, she said.
