LANDSLIDE NEAR SITE OF PREVIOUS CLIFF COLLAPSE

A LANDSLIDE has happened on a stretch of coastline where a cliff previously collapsed onto the beach.

The incident has been reported at Nefyn on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula.

It has led to the closure of the Wales Coast Path at that spot with a diversion due to be set up.

This was the location where four years ago a major landslip took place (pictured). It caused tonnes of mud and rock to block a section of a beach.
