JASON MANFORD CHATS TO LYNN RUSK ABOUT GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND AUDIENCE INVOLVEMENT AS HE RETURNS TO HOSTING DUTIES FOR SEASON TWO OF THE ANSWER RUN

It's part quiz and part relationship test... we saw a few domestics!

“Series two is brilliant, even more exciting and fast-paced than series one,” says Jason.

“We're all more comfortable with the show now, so I was able to have more fun with the brilliant contestants. There are a lot of laughs and some intense quizzing.”

In The Answer Run, contestants are given the choice of two possible answers and players must swipe towards the answer they think is correct.

Categories range widely from “Ariana Grande or Taylor Swift” to “Jupiter or Mars” and everything in between.

Teams will be eliminated throughout the show, until one pair remains. They will then face “The Final Run” to attempt to take home all the money they've generated throughout the episode.

“We've made a few changes,” Jason adds. “There are even more questions this season, and now every team must play Race to the Run before entering the main game. That's how they choose the categories they'll be quizzed on.”

Salford-born Jason began his career as a stand-up comedian and has gone on to present a number of TV programmes including BBC’s The One Show and is currently on a stand-up tour called A Manford All Seasons, which will run until March 2026.
