INJURED BIKER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER A5 CRASH

THE A5 was closed in both directions for several hours yesterday due to a crash in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured.

The road was closed between Llangollen and Glyndyfrdwy, Traffic Wales warned.

They said the road was likely to “remain closed for some time” and urged drivers to “avoid the area”. The air ambulance had landed at the scene.
