THE event firm behind the Dragon's Back and other endurance races has ceased trading.

Dragon's Back race events firm ceases trading

Ourea Events organise some of the most challenging events in the UK.

In Wales, they restarted the infamous Dragon's Back in 2012 - a race that went from Conwy to Cardiff across the nation’s mountain ranges. The next event was due to take place in September.

They also organised the Northern Traverse, Cape Wrath Ultra and Skyline Scotland.

But last Thursday evening they posted that the company had ceased trading. They said the events planned for 2026 will now not go ahead under Ourea.
