BLUES boss David Moyes acknowledged his side had missed a major opportunity after a 4-2 home defeat to Brentford.

Everton were outfought in a dominant display by Brentford. The hosts tried to fight back but goals from Beto and Thierno Barry were no more than a consolation.
It was a tough result for Moyes, particularly after a morale-boosting win at Nottingham Forest in midweek, one that pushed the Blues to eighth in the table.
