18-year-old appears in court to face charge of murdering his mother

A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of murdering his mum. Angela Shellis, 45, was found dead in Prestatyn on Friday, October 24.

Tristan Thomas Roberts, aged 18, of Coniston Drive, Prestatyn, appeared in court yesterday. After an eight-minute hearing at Llandudno Magistrates Court, Roberts was remanded in custody.
He will appear before Mold Crown Court today for a preliminary hearing. He spoke to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
