Markram still excited about 'young, fearless crew'

IT is simply not bluster from Aiden Markram when the captain speaks of a bright future for his young Proteas T20 team.
They are a side blessed with the modern gifts and innovation of teenagers Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Kwena Maphaka along with ultra-talented 22-year-old Dewald Brevis.
And while they have yet to put together a string of performances across three tours - Zimbabwe, Australia and now England - to earn white-ball coach Shukri Conrad his first T20I series win as yet, captain Markram feels they are on the right path building up to next year’s T20 World Cup.
