SIR Chris Hoy has been thanked for saving the lives of prostate cancer patients in a special video for his 50th birthday.
The six-time Olympic gold medallist was told he had stage 4 of the disease in September 2023 and revealed his diagnosis the following year.
The legendary cyclist has since become a high-profile campaigner for better screening for the illness and launched the Tour De 4 bike ride that has raised more than £3.1 million for charity.
