Widow plans legal action after hedge prune death

THE widow of a gardener fatally electrocuted while pruning hedges is launching legal action against a utilities company.

Tina Campbell said there has been “silence” from SP Energy Networks - a Scottish Power subsidiary - three years after the death of dad-of-two Blair.

An inquest last year heard he cut through a high-voltage cable, covered by dense ivy, in 2022.
