Minister on undoing Tory failures

HEALTH Secretary Wes Streeting says the government is turning the tide on waiting lists after delivering millions of extra appointments early.

NHS England figures today show between July and November 2024 there were almost 2.2 million more appointments than in the same period of 2023.

Ramping up weekend and evening working has helped deliver the target seven months early, with more than 100,000 more treatments, tests and scans each week.
