THE disgraced boss at the heart of the Post Office scandal was told to stop talking "humbug" and living in a "cloud of denial".
Paula Vennells was also yesterday accused of existing in "La-La Land".
Giving evidence to the inquiry into the faulty IT fiasco that wrecked the lives of hundreds of postmasters, she sobbed, bit her lip and squeezed her eyes shut as she declared her "love" for the Post Office.
She claimed: "I worked as hard as I possibly could. My only motivation was for the best for the Post Office. And for the postmasters I met."
