Hotel chain ranked bottom in guest poll for 12th year in row
THE Britannia Hotels chain has been ranked the worst place to stay for the 12th year running.
Consumer group Which? gave Britannia, which has more than 60 sites, a lowly customer satisfaction score of just 44% in a poll out today.
It managed just one star out of a possible five for the quality of its bedrooms and bathrooms.
One Britannia guest at the Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone, Kent, branded it a “total dive”.
Another said they had three nights booked but left after one due to the poor service, quality of the room and food.
