COMIC Dawn French shares the screen with her alter-ego the Fairy for the first time in this year's M&S Christmas advert.

The short, featuring Elton John hit Step Into Christmas, shows Dawn, 67, trudging through the snow, weighed down with presents and bah humbug spirit, moaning about being exhausted.
