Thinfluencers blamed over shock eating disorder rise

ONLINE stars promoting dangerous food habits are fuelling a rise in eating disorders, an expert says.
Official data shows there were 31,751 NHS hospital admissions for conditions such as anorexia and bulimia between April 2023 and April 2024.
Some 6,408 were aged 18 or under. The total number of admissions has risen 11% in a year.
