TV probe into how trio conspired to murder Ryanair's Christophe

- BY EMMELINE SAUNDERS and JANINE YAQOOB

WHEN a caller with a French accent confessed to murdering his flatmate four years earlier and entombing his body in concrete in his garden, police inspector Anton Sullivan listened in horror.

It sounded like the plot of a mafia movie but every word of the late-night call from Sebastian Bendou in 2013 about French flight attendant Christophe Borgye was true.

The victim, 36, who was reported missing by his Ryanair colleagues, had been buried at the bottom of his garden in Ellesmere Port, Merseyside.

Now, the gruesome story is being told in a new Prime Video documentary, Murder in Concrete.

Mr Sullivan, who retired in January after a 30-year career and appears in the documentary, tells the Mirror: "The ripple effects from this crime are still going on a decade later."

Christophe's love of travel brought him to the UK, where he landed his airline job. But he fell in with three men who went on to kill him.
