CHRIS WILDER has told his Sheffield United players they must shoulder the blame for their nightmare start after revealing the damning stats that cost Ruben Selles his job.
The 57-year-old (left) begins his third spell in charge of his hometown club today after answering the SOS to clean up the mess of the Spaniards disastrous three-month reign.
Six straight defeats to start the campaign would suggest fans were right to think Selles was well out of his depth but Wilder has laid a large part of the responsibility at the door of his under-performing squad for failing to do the basics.
