Sales fall as injections rise

FAT jabs could be nibbling away at sales of chocolate and sweets.

A rise in Britons taking weight-loss drugs including Wegovy and Mounjaro has coincided with a drop in choc and sweet purchases.

Trade journal Confectionery News says top-selling fat jabs appear to “reduce desire for sweet flavours” and “confectionery sales are on the decline”.
