Rich rocket trip waste of space

I thought the mission into space by Katy Perry and her pals was too brief to be of any significance - and I think actress Emily Ratajkowski was spot on calling it “disgusting’ as it was bankrolled by a company “destroying our planet”.

It was nothing more than a publicity stunt by people with far too much money.

And it makes a mockery of space exploration and innovations done over many years.

It was also a bit much watching Katy Perry kiss the ground after she landed, as if she had been in space for months.

Brave astronauts who have risked their lives to help us understand what is beyond our planet must have been furious.

I hope that it's the last of these publicity stunts but I have a bad feeling that more celebrities will try to follow suit.

If I had the cash and the opportunity to take a trip to space I would definitely go.

The trip these women took may have only taken a few minutes but what an experience. The excite ment and adrenaline must have been overwhelming.
