Court no-show after being nicked by star of The Bill
A SHOPLIFTER collared by an actor who played a policeman in The Bill failed to show up at court yesterday.
Mohammed Diallo was brought to justice with the help of Jeff Stewart, who played PC Reg Hollis in the ITV police drama.
Jeff, who starred in over 900 episodes from 1984 to 2008, rushed over and sat on Diallo's legs to help real officers make the arrest after he fell off his bike trying to escape.
