POLICE chiefs are furious about a decision to allow pub-goers to drink as late as 2am if England progress in the World Cup.
The government has announced that pubs can stay open until 1am for England or Scotland matches in the knockout stages that kick off between 5pm and 9pm, and until 2am for 9-10pm kickoffs.
