Honours even in thrilling clash as sides stay level in golden-point

PHWOAR DRAW

LEIGH'S Lachlan Lam missed THREE drop-goal attempts in golden point extra-time as gutsy Hull held on in dramatic style.

Hull captain Aidan Sezer's touchline conversion of Lewis Martin's 79th minute try left things all square at 22-22 - and neither side could get the winner.

Leigh star David Armstrong got off his sick bed to leave Hull feeling queasy.

The lightning quick Aussie full-back hadn't trained all week after missing Friday's win over Catalans with illness.

Boss Adrian Lam gave him until the last minute to prove his fitness and it proved crucial as he delivered a man-of-the- match display.

Armstrong, who's proved a huge hit since joining from NRLs Newcastle Knights this term, scored twice as unbeaten Leigh swent top of Super League.
