Ringleader of drug gang that shot 9-yr-old is jailed

A DRUGS kingpin who jointly led the crime gang that employed Olivia Pratt-Korbel's killer has been jailed for 18 years.

Olivia was shot by Thomas Cashman on her doorstep in Liverpool in a botched assassination attempt on a rival gang member.

Cashman was a hitman for the Huyton Firm, ruled by Francis Coggins, 60, and brother Vincent.

Francis was yesterday jailed for 18 years after admitting importing and supplying heroin and cocaine.

The gang ordered attacks on rivals - like the one that resulted in the nine-year-old’s death in 2022 - but there is no suggestion Coggins was involved in that shooting.
