A MONSTER who murdered his pregnant partner, her kids and their friend with a claw hammer at a sleepover and raped one of the dying children will die behind bars. 

Damien Bendall, 32, got a rare whole-life order yesterday after admitting the murder of Lacey Bennett, 11, brother John Paul Bennett, 13, their mum Terri Harris, 35, and friend Connie Gent, 11.

He also pleaded guilty to raping little Lacey as she lay dying.

Connie had asked to stay a second night on a sleepover at the house where her pals lived with their mum Terri and Bendall in Killamarsh, near Sheffield.

The girls had spent the day raising money for Cancer Research by selling sweets from a stall outside the house. The four victims were found with their skulls smashed in the next day.
