Maxwell deluded over Trump help

Ghislaine Maxwell's final bid for freedom has been crushed after the US Supreme Court refused to hear her appeal. The disgraced Brit socialite had tried to overturn her 20-year sentence for grooming and trafficking girls for paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell's only hope now rests on a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. You say...

NOW the US Supreme Court has refused to hear Maxwell's appeal, we have her attorney saying the fight isn't over and Trump is talking about a pardon. Perhaps they should think about why they are trying to overturn the case.

As I understand it, they say it's because Epstein had an agreement that none of his co-conspirators could be prosecuted. Well that sounds like they are admitting that she was involved. If she had any decency, she would start telling the truth, stop saying “poor me”, and think more about the victims of their vile actions.

Anthony Probert Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire

Ghislaine Maxwell looks like she is biding her time until she ultimately evades proper justice and is set free. Having Donald Trump as an ally and being the daughter of the late Robert Maxwell may help.

Sadly the brave woman who was the catalyst in bringing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell down is no longer with us.
