3 dead in Russian onslaught

BRUTAL Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian civilians have killed at least three people and wounded several others.

A fresh overnight onslaught brought terror to noncombatants in the southern port city of Odesa and in the northeastern city of Kharkiv.

In Odesa, a drone attack struck apartment buildings and a gas pipeline, leaving many homes unheated. Emergency services found a young woman's body there.

In Kharkiv, rescuers recov ered the bodies of a woman and a boy, 10, following a drone strike. The attack wounded three others.

Russia has continued its bombardment of Ukraine even while engaging in US-backed talks aimed at ending Europe's deadliest conflict since the Second World War.
