Husband resents the time I spend with my children

I'm a woman in my 60s and eight years ago I married for the second time to a man whose circumstances were very similar to my own. It felt like a match made in heaven.

We'd both been widowed and both have grown-up children who we adore, and now we have two grandchildren too.

When we first got married things were great. We didn't have the usual issues with kids in a blended family because our children were older and had their own lives, and they were all happy for us and got on well together.

My issue now is that my husband seems resentful of the time I spend with my family. In the past, we've seen more of his kids, as they live nearby, but my daughter recently relocated nearer to us so I've been seeing much more of her and my granddaughter, which is lovely.
