A TEENAGER who thought she would be a celebrity after stabbing three people was nearly referred to the anti-terror scheme Prevent.

A report into the 13-year-old also revealed she was fascinated by Adolf Hitler and had an unusual interest in weapons and war memorabilia.

Despite troubling incidents such as taking a ball bearing gun to a previous school, the "pieces of the jigsaw" were not put together and acted on.

After she was found with a knife at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, a referral to the government's anti-terror scheme was discussed but not pursued.

The girl later armed herself with her father's multi-tool knife and attacked another pupil and teachers Fiona Elias and Liz Hopkin.
